Hospital food

The hospital food was so good, I had to take a picture. It was run like room service; I could order whatever I wanted off the extensive menu, whenever, and it was prepared fresh for me. Chocolate shakes and french toast on demand - now that's my kind of hospital food!

Happy Birthday, Emmett!

Kyra was very excited that we had a birthday cake for Emmett's real birthday. Jack was very excited too, once he tasted carrot cake for the first time. He has since added it to his repertoire of things he asks for on a constant basis - corn dogs, cereal in a bowl with milk (he's very particular about the wording on that one), popcorn, and ice cream. Thanks for picking it up, Mom. It was really good!

Kyra has made thorough use of all of the packing supplies. Here she is, showing me the chair she made. So creative!


As Jack would say, 'uh oh - a mess!' Kyra was turning styrofoam blocks into shoes. Jack was dutifully crumbling the debris into the smallest form possible.

Emmett James Weber

Born April 3 at 0732. He weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 inches long.


Happy in momma's lap.


He likes that football carry (I don't think that the nurse did though).
