Ten Years
It finally feels like the end of the year, since this week the temperature dropped and it's no longer in the 90's. In January, Kip and I will have been married for 10 years. A decade! Wow. I've been thinking back on the last 10 years a lot lately. I've spent:
10 years being married.
9 years in this apartment. 9 years!!!
8 years since Kip realized what his dream job was and how much work it would entail.
7 years in Primary in one calling or another.
6 years playing Settlers (and other games).
5 years with my friends from my pregnancy and parenting boards.
4 years as a mother. Really? Only 4 years? Feels longer.
3 years penny pinching through Kip's school/internship/starter jobs. That feels longer, too. ;)
2 years with Jack.
and 1 year enjoying my first ever brand new car.
It was an era. Things are changing so quickly around here, a new era is about to begin. There's major potential for a new job, a big move, and our last day at 1st Ward (which we've been attending for 9 years) is this Sunday. It's funny that this new phase of life is happening at almost exactly the 10 year mark.
