Happy Birthday, Kyra!

Kyra had a wonderful day. Ask her how old she is and she'll tell you 'I'm fwee on my birthday'. She was thrilled about everything - thrilled she got to go to Quest and Stephanie's house while I got things ready, thrilled that all of her friends were there, thrilled with her gifts, thrilled with her cake and her butterfly flowers, and now, she's going to bed in her princess dress after giving me a full physical with her doctor's kit. This is the first time she's really gotten into a holiday and that made it a lot of fun for me, too. And Jack was a saint the whole time - he sat happily in his high chair for more than an hour, through the entire present opening process.

First steps!

Jack took his first steps yesterday. He has been trying for a week or so now and has only stumbled, but yesterday, he finally took a step or two without falling down (he really wanted that garlic bread). It's easier to walk when you're not thinking about walking.
